I'm the owner of Signed by Kaitlyn and a commissioned West Virginia Notary Public since 2021, proudly serving individuals and businesses throughout the surrounding communities.
I've spent much of my professional career working in office administration, customer service, and document management. Along the way, I've developed a genuine appreciation for organization, accuracy, confidentiality, and the responsibility that comes with handling important information.
My experience has included maintaining sensitive records, preparing and reviewing documentation, coordinating schedules, and helping people navigate processes that aren't always straightforward. I genuinely enjoy working with documents, paying attention to the little details, and making unfamiliar or overwhelming situations a little easier for the people I'm assisting.
Outside of work, I'm happily married and spend a large portion of time with our sweet furbaby curled up by my side! I value family, kindness, and treating others with the same patience and respect I'd hope to receive myself.
Whether I'm helping someone with a routine notarization or an especially important document, I bring that same combination of attention to detail, clear communication, professionalism, and genuine care to every appointment.
Life doesn't always happen during regular business hours, and finding time to get an important document notarized shouldn't have to mean rearranging your entire day.
I started Signed by Kaitlyn to offer a more convenient option for people juggling work, family, appointments, and everything else life throws their way. By offering mobile notary services during evenings and weekends, I hope to make the process a little easier and more accessible for my neighbors and surrounding communities.
I've always enjoyed working with paperwork, keeping things organized, and helping people find their way through unfamiliar processes. Starting my own notary business gave me the opportunity to put those interests to good use while providing a service that genuinely helps people.
To me, notarization is about more than a signature and a stamp. It's about taking the responsibility seriously, helping ensure that important documents are signed by the right person, and treating every signer with the care and respect they deserve.
Some documents, especially powers of attorney, medical directives, and other important personal paperwork, can have lasting consequences. That's why I take my responsibility to verify identity, assess each signer's willingness and awareness, and remain impartial so seriously.
I approach every appointment with patience, professionalism, and respect. My goal is to provide a comfortable, straightforward experience where every signer is treated with dignity, while upholding the responsibilities and standards of my notarial commission.
I understand that choosing a mobile notary means placing trust in someone you may be meeting for the first time. I take that responsibility seriously and strive to provide careful, confidential, and impartial service.
